The claim
Huawei will launch the Mate X8 in China in November with Kirin 9050/9050 Pro chips, an 8.15-inch inner and 6.5-inch cover screen, a 50MP 1/1.28-inch variable-aperture main camera, a 50MP periscope and a battery above 6,000mAh, plus a privacy-display version.
Why we rated it Rumor
From Weibo tipster Bai Ze Guan Shan, relayed by Gizmochina and GSMArena. The timing fits Huawei's pattern (the Mate X7 launched in November 2025), but the tipster says the launch was planned alongside a new sub-brand whose timing is uncertain. Huawei has not announced anything.
