The claim
Samsung found the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 overheating in S27 Ultra testing and may use its own Exynos 2700 chip if Qualcomm doesn't fix it by mid-October.
Why we rated it Shaky
The report comes from Korean outlet SEDaily and was relayed by SamMobile and others. Qualcomm's chief marketing officer Don McGuire says the overheating reports are '100% NOT accurate'. Chip choice by region is routine for Samsung, but this specific claim is single-sourced and denied.
