The claim
Apple is developing a higher-end HomeView smart home hub with a 9-inch screen that swivels 360 degrees on a robotic arm, for 2027 or 2028.
Why we rated it Rumor
Reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who has a strong Apple record, in his Oct 18 newsletter. Names like 'HomeView Max' are his guesses. The timeline is far out and Apple's plans could change; the current 7-inch HomeView ships Nov 13.
