Mistral Large 4 open weights

Mistral says the weights for its 1-trillion-parameter Large 4 model will be released by the end of October.

Previewed Oct 6 as a natively multimodal mixture-of-experts model with 52B active parameters, trained on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in Mistral's own European data centers. Until the weights ship it is available only through a preview API while Mistral red-teams it with vetted partners. Licence and final architecture details have not been published.
