MiniMax M3.1 Flash

China's MiniMax released M3.1 Flash, a fast, cheap model aimed at agents, coding and computer use, via its API and apps.

MiniMax says it runs about three times faster than its predecessor at 70% lower cost for agent tasks, with output above 200 tokens per second, and that it ran anonymously as 'Space Bunny' before launch. Available through the MiniMax API, M Plan and MiniMax Code. Weights come later, as does a larger 'Pro' model. Benchmark claims are MiniMax's own.
