Apple Intelligence beta in China

Tim Cook says a beta of Apple Intelligence reaches users in China later in October, without the new Siri.

Cook said on Oct 15 that the first features (live translation, writing tools and photo cleanup) and the Alibaba Qwen models behind them have regulatory approval. He did not give an exact day. Bloomberg reports a wider launch with iOS 27.3 in December.
